For Mobile Companion Aides
Q: How does payment work?
A: MCAs are independent contractors (1099). Payments are processed via Stripe after each trip, minus a 15% platform fee.
Q: How much do I get paid per trip?
A: MCAs set their own hourly rate during registration. Families and facilities see this rate when booking.
Q: How often will I be paid?
A: Payments are processed automatically through Stripe. Most payouts arrive in your connected bank account within 2–3 business days after completing a trip.
Q: Do I get paid directly by the client?
A: No. Clients pay RydeAide through the secure platform. RydeAide then distributes your payout minus the platform fee. This keeps everything consistent, reliable, and recorded.
Q: Is there a minimum number of hours or trips I have to complete?
A: No. You can work as much or as little as you choose. RydeAide is designed to give you flexible income around your schedule.
Q: Do I have to cover my own taxes?
